Some of the best local makers, artists, chefs and bakers are coming together for six weeks to bring Christmas to Islington Wharf in Penryn. Running from November 15th through to Christmas Eve the, ‘Xmas Pop-Up Shop @ Islington Wharf’, will be managed on a rota basis by the producers themselves.
Everything from food and wine to clothes and toys for the children will be stocked giving Christmas shoppers beautiful hand-crafted and unique gifts to choose from.
The idea has been several months in the planning, initially instigated by Lea Parry of Deli & Spice, based at Islington Wharf, and Lynne Speake of Re-Dress also based at the Wharf. Making use of an empty building with ample parking and the beautiful backdrop of St Gluvias Church will bring a real festive feel to this quiet corner of Penryn.
