Penryn Arts Festival

After the excitement of Green Fields on the Glasney College Field few would blame you for wallowing in that festival feeling. So before you start booking tickets, dragging out the muddy tent and daring to think about crossing the border we think we have the solution right here in Penryn.

Penryn Arts Festival is only a few weeks away and if the planning, late night uploads and dishevelled expressions on the faces of committee members is anything to go by it is boasting an epic programme of events. From live music, open studios, street performances, cinema screenings and workshops a plenty to try new skills and dust off old ones. Just about every creative discipline and genre you can think off is scheduled.

This will be the first festival of this kind in Penryn and Festival organiser Maria Christoforidou said, ‘We hope that by piloting this Festival we will provide a catalyst for other regular high quality arts events to be staged under the PAF banner throughout the year.’
